PhD project“Dissecting the role of cytoplasmic long non-coding RNAs in neuronal development and disease” supervised by Dr Julie Aspden, co-supervised by Dr Guillaume Hautbergue and Dr Juan Fontana. My project aims to identify and elucidate the role of cytoplasmic long non-coding RNAs (lncRNA) involved in neuronal development and disease by using a combination of experimental and computational techniques.
Research interestsTranslational control, cytoplasmic lncRNAs, lncRNA-protein interactions, smORF mediated translation, neuronal differentiation and disease.
